Some devices use a stylus, but they are a minority, even them, these devices can support a touch with your finger and work properly, can you say that about 3DS? No, you can't.
Here are some things about 3DS and Vita.
3DS resolution 400x240 (top screen)
PSP resolution 480x272
PSVita resolution 960x 544
PSVita weight: 260g and 219g (slim model)
3DS: 336g (XL) and 329g (New XL) 253g (New) and 235g (original)
PSVita Slim: 15mm
New 3DS XL: 21 mm
Vita: Capacitive Multi-Touch
3DS: Resistive (Cheap, not very sensitive, outdated, nobody uses anymore but 3DS)
Prices at Amazon:
New 3DS XL: $211
PSVita Slim: $160
Is that enough or are you keep going on saying how 3DS is great when we clearly know it isn't?
Maybe you got a faulty unit, my 3ds works fine with or without a stylus.
I guess you can't get it in your skull that the 3ds has more hardware. Not saying it is stronger, I'm saying it has more hardware.
Of course adding more hardware and making it bigger is going to add weight and honestly the weight isn't even that bad to complain about.
Again, just because others are using capacitive, doesn't mean everything has to be the same. If that's the case, everything would have
the Apple design and Apple price and that would just be bad. Resistive is more accurate than capacitive. Using the 3ds touchscreen right now,
I don't see your problem.
-3ds has two screens. Xl being almost 5in each. One being a 3d screen. Vita (and the psp for that matter) only has to deal with one and it got rid the OLED.
-Nope nope nope. Don't care, it can be significantly slimmer and lighter.
-...
$160? That's nice. Too bad you still got to deal with those overpriced memory cards.
Btw, you keep making it seem cheap is a bad thing. Well, I rather pay for the "cheap" memory cards than the overpriced proprietary ones.
I had enough of going in circles, like what I said was going to happen.
