It doesn't require it.
it just benefit from it in passive mode (you earn tickets that you can trade for items).
You can play it offline without never needing online, or you can switch to online/offline whenever you want (by using Saviine to copy the savegame to the console and play from the retail disc, and vice versa)
Have you ever corrupted a save file with Saviine? Is it safe?

I need permission from @dimok to release first, but I have made a few changes to Loadiine GX2's source. Changes include:
  • Added a quick launch setting in the menu so it loads your settings in loadiine_gx.cfg and opens the game based on those settings. No additional panels will open when you tap the game icon on the launcher.
  • Added an option to disable the particles flying around everywhere because I found them to be distracting.
  • Added a music selector option in settings to allow you to choose which mp3, ogg, or wav to play for the background.

Sounds good. Your gonna make a pull request?

Probably not the right thread but do you think something like this would speed up loading times?
mobidapter1.jpg

It is a USB to SD adapter (USB female, microSD male) that allows you to essentially plug a USB device into an SD card slot. The main question is whether it's the flash memory on the SD cards that causes micro file reading to be slow or whether it's inherent to SDIO, which you would not be able to bypass with SDIO>USB conversion. Would anyone know?

What is the proper way to exit out of a launched loadliine game to choose another one?

Just hit home button > internet > payload > homebrew > gx2 again? Or is there a faster way around this?

Is there a video guide for first timers like me to follow. Theres just so much to take in at once, I've been trying my best to get my game to run with a number of different combinations and I'm positive theres files missing in order for my game to launch since the file size is smaller than what is said in the compatibility list. Any help would be appreciated.

Like I said before, Regions can have different file sizes

Can anyone explain me what are the differences between SSB lauch mode and Mii Maker Mode?
Mii maker mode launched from MiiMaker (Passive, auto starts) while Smash Mode exits to MiiMaker, then you start the game by launching Retail Smash, which then cuts to your title after it does the "Smash Start Intro" thing on launch.

Wanna say, this is a very neat lil app. Just started a couple days ago and wanted to make an account (Stupid hotmail blocked the request >.>) and say "Thanks" to not only the dev of Loadiine for this neat tool (and making me laugh when a game switches gears from Smash to "New Title"). It took me a little bit to figure out what I'm doing, but it's pretty straight forward if you read. While I haven't gotten any other game, I did get Minecraft to test out and had the same issue many here have had with it crashing on load. after reading the last few pages, I can not only recommend the "no nid" thing, but also try booting Minecraft from Smash. Worked every time for me so far. Also, I'd like to thank @MeixDev back on page 145 for the "Uncentered Analog Stick" fix.

Does last night's Nightly fix that or should I go ahead and stick with what I currently have, until an official v3 release?

Enter Miimaker to launch loadiine again. Then you can press the home button to go back to the homebrew launcher

I never corrupted it, either in Read from console or write to console mode, but I only used it with Xenoblade X.
I don't know if other games can have issues.

For Xenoblade, you need only the "user" option, there's no "common" files shares with multiple WiiU profiles. so just dump/restore the "user" files.

Thank you for contributing.
It's nice to have theme/background options. we thought about adding few options for each visual (grid, circle, etc.) but never did because of priorities.
But if someone else can do it, it's fine I guess.

Just a thing, instead of calling it "quick launch" I would better call it the other way :
Display individual game settings at launch : Enabled/Disabled
or just "Display game settings" if need to be shorter. This option can be in the game menu.

The other options can be in the background customization menu. (music is part of the background too)

Edit:
I already updated the first post to reflect your future version.
I hope you'll rename the "quick launch" to "Display individual game settings at launch" option ;)

I also added a new "Loadiine usage" section, which explain how to launch or change games.
No more "should I reload the browser exploit again?" question I hope :P

I also added a DLC section.

Are there any plans to add list view with the covers on the side, like in USB Loader GX?

This is my preferred viewing method on USB Loader GX.

It may stop working if you progress in the game  until you reach to the missing files
doubt it, the whole game now matches whats shown in the compatibility list. I'm confident I set it up correctly.

Any advice on cheating my Wii U games?

Also how can I backup my gamesave data so that it can be read on my PC (decrypted)?

Hmm, not sure if there's something I'm doing wrong, but after I run the exploits and start a game, the gamepad seems te be pushing itself down-left, so it makes it kinda impossible to play games.

I just start the kexploit, loadiine, and then the games
