Shhh. Don't tell my kids we are going to be on the road to visit Mom and our new house. I cancelled my Costco preorder because it could take a few days after the 29th to arrive and then the movers come to pack up. I will just get it locally Friday morning so they will have the weekend with it.

Can the game be played entirely on the GP or is a TV required? Between packing, loading, moving, unloading, and unpacking the Wii U is going to down for a week or so. "Please Understand boys you will just have to wait another week."

Good question. If I had to guess it's TV-only because the way they're forcing the GamePad it might be unlikely to have Off-TV Play support or else they could've made the Wii U Pro Controller work as another main controller (as well as the Wiimote + Nunchuk).

I'll know for sure since next week's the game will be sent out.

A 3.5mm cable to your PC's line in jack is the best you can hope for.

If you don't know much about it then leave it to those who'll make a professional rip that isn't in-line but from the game's music files themselves. It'll only be out in a couple more days anyway.

It is possible to dump data from Wii U ISOs (not sure about the exact process) but there's no way to dump the disc itself. Once a scene release pops up someone might dump the music.

The music is something I really dig about Splatoon, it's like reggae and jazz mixed into one. If Nintendo could release the score on CD that'd be great!

Same here. And the sad thing is I couldn`t participate in the first testfire at all...

EDIT: Also I just looked at some twitch streamers and apparently everyone has the same issue not being able to connect.

I was expecting it. Two weeks ago we had three hours so all regions could play somewhat separately. But tonight, everyone is trying to get in and it's causing a meltdown.
So, I suggest one minute of silence for the Splatoon servers.

I hope this demo shows Nintendo what needs to be done to sort their servers out. I finally managed to get into a match and I thought it was a pretty decent game. Definately want to keep using the roller. Games also coming out on my birthday but I think I'll pass on it until it drops in price.

Played 2 matches before the server crash. then played all the hour with good results, thanks to the roller.
changed equipment a couple of times but my major victories where in hands of the roller.
