doesn't the ntr firmware remove cia region lock? the guy who wrote brahma has a disassembly of the ntr firmware on his github, so you could just look it up there and "steal" the technique

Routines from here on look remarkably relevant.
Obviously it would be (slightly) more polite to, as you say, steal the technique but code it yourself, rather than rip off the actual code.

I have tried to boot up this on my N3ds 9.2 twice. It doesn't work. It starts Cubic Ninja and the 3ds console hangs. But don't put any effort or time into this. I would rather see you working with the implementation in Pasta

Try it. WHat could possibly go wrong (if it asks you to update the spoofer isn't working if nothing happens exept internet it is working)
As far as i know nintendo always asks before an update. (i have to add though that i am a noob with the 3ds hacking stuff so my advice is probably as valid as the advice from a dog *bark* *bark*)(you may hav eto shut the 3ds down with the power button)

Not realy if it is unavoidable(update request with only a OK) just press and hold down the power button. (or don't accept the agb, not sure on that though) (probably don't have to tell you that though...)

You can spoof and system transfer this way if the firmwares of both consoles are compatible.

I tried that way, but when I click system transfer, it still tells me to update.

I installed SSB update without any problem.
I wanted to install Pokemon Shuffle using the spoof. I downloaded it and the game installed itself. But the game title which was shown on the Home menu was only composed of japanese symbols and punctuation symbols.
I left the eshop and reboot the consol but when I launch the game, there is only a kind of bootloop with the animated Nintendo 3DS logo on the top screen.

Do you have a solution guys? It would be appreciate.

Otherwise, great work, I updated my games on O3DS 9.2 without any problem, everything is running flawlessly.
