I've already tried that multiple times :L
  1. Did you go into memory management and see if you can delete the old update?
  2. Are you using the Download Now option? Download Later doesn't work.
  3. Try this out. I kind of doubt it will help, but it's worth a shot.
Edit: This was my 10,000 post.

Sorry for my complete ignorance but:
1. What is memory management? like the data management in system settings? If so yes.
2. What's the difference?
3. I'll try in a little bit, I'm retrying the normal way and I have really horrible internet (like all australians).

  1. Sorry, I meant Data Management.
  2. Download Later runs in the System Menu. Just a few posts ago I mentioned that it didn't work.
  3. If you have been using Download Later, that explains why it didn't work.
PS: An Australian friend just sent me this. As a fellow savage, I thought you would appreciate it.

System menu? So like when you go through the game's request to update? I've been going into the eshop and getting the update, I hope that clarifies which one i've been using.

xD Yeah its actually really bad though because people are enclosing and destroying the animals wildlife which forces them to roam suburbia. Believe it or not i've seen kangaroos bigger haha

Okay, go into the eShop, choose to download the update, and when you are prompted if you want to "Download Now" or "Download Later", choose the first option.

YGWeshopspoofer doesn't work for 4.4.0-4J with Launcher.dat booted Pasta CFW.
Even after I installed 4.5.0-10J's browser with Devmenu.

Maybe the FW is just too old, and the old eShop version can't communicate with the servers.
You could try installing a newer eShop with a cia. No idea if that will work though, I don't think anyone has tried. Make a nand backup first.
Edit: it does say 9.0-9.2 so that's probably why it doesn't work for you.

9.7 shop was tried on 9.2 and it turned out to need 9.7 NATIVE_FIRM.
I'd imagine 4.5 to 9.2 would act the same way (though maybe 9.0 NATIVE_FIRM but either way out of reach)

That's to say a higher version e-shop requires a higher version NATIVE_FIRM which 4.x can't boot.
I give up accessing 4.5 e-shop.

Now I'm planning for this:
1) Install YGWeshopspoofer in an Old 9.2.0-20J
2) System Transfer 9.7.0-25J to YGW+Pasta 9.2.0-20J
But I know during the ST, the target console will restart at least once.
Is it available to keep all source data not damaged after the restart since each reboot turns your system back to SysNAND but not Pasta+YGW?
If not, then I can only ST-ing from 9.7 SysNAND to 9.7 emuNAND to ensure my source data's safety.

9.7 and 9.2 are incompatible. The System Transfer protocol was changed at like, 9.6 and thus this plan won't work.

Nay, I speak of the games' formats.
For example, after installing YGW FRTL, when you run it, it would have the option of loading a physical game in the 3DS (if there is one) or a .CIA file (if there are any), instead of only letting you boot the physical game without region lock.

you could use the regionfree option when creating the cia to avoid this surely.
