So i just downgraded my 9.2.0eu to 4.5.0eu. Is there a way to go lower than that? Kinda sucks that us gets to go to 4.2.0 since the flashcart i want to use was blocked on 4.4.0 and im on 4.5.0 :/

N3DS users should NOT complain at all.
Who the F**k told them to import a system from another country?
Certainly Gateway wasn't pointing a gun at them to buy it, did they?

Of course not.

Nevertheless, Gateway would be making a bad move if they release the N3DS support BEFORE the handhelds release in both NA and EUR.
After February 14th, be sure to be on the lookout for the update.
Gateway never disappoints, they should know how to make people loose their nerve on the patience. XD

they told me not to tell anyone....but they did, they held a gun to my head and made me order......i tried to refuse but they said they would shoot me soon if i didn't

bleh they are taking the piss with the update.....yeah its people faults for actually believing their bizarre timescale they live in was anything like a normal time scale.....i have done my fair share of defending them, but they are not immune from criticism just because they cleverly mislead people with vague wordplay......yeah people who ordered a n3ds and had no backup play where pretty naive to believe a dodgy flashcard company, but its not like they just made up the "before christmas", "before new year", "before January 8th" stuff that was all on gateway....defend them or not they knew what they where doing by stringing people along with close approximations, when really it doesn't seem like there was any sort of "soon" plans

idc tbh but im not going to blindly lick their backside......they are open to criticism and they put them selves in that position, its not mine or your job to defend them

Frankly, GW could have upped and left after the multirom support for FW4.5.

After the creation of emunand, they could have just left, and when emunand compatibility issues came up,
only users with dev-like knowledge would eventually patch the games.

I am thankful that they didn't abandon their product like some NDS cart teams from back in the day.

No doubt, they could be doing it for profit.
But that works hand in hand with support.

And since they got 3DS (and I think maybe 2DS), and even <FW 9 working,
there is no doubt they are working on n3DS,
because presently, it'll make more sense to buy a n3DS than a 3DS.

Also, china could be a big market for them.
There are probably more 3DS users in China as compared to the n3DS users wanting a GW in the rest of the world.

So it will come, just wait...

Of course they are open to criticism, even more so because they teased people with their video showing the card working on a N3DS, which hyped everyone the fuck up.
I gotta say I was a hyped one too, I held a Normal 3DS with FW 7.1 and both cards for like 2 months accumulating dust, but it all paid off after a while.

Patience is a virtue, and Gateway sure knows how to push the limits of such virtue.

Nope, I don't have one, but I do plan on buying one on February 13th, despite there being support for it from Gateway or not.

Why not?
People bought it because they wanted.
They don't want to not have the N3DS, they want to have the N3DS and also Gateway.
I bought a used N3DSJ console, it's nice, but I'd enjoy a Gateway for it.

Why?
What is to gain from waiting for the products to be out in two more regions?
It's already out, gateway does region-free, the firmware is already flashed to the devices(probably since december or november), why wait?
Are they master marketing executives?

We did this aswell
Let's see..today is Jan 20, 2015. So...why are we not allowed to complaint ?
Ummm.. because they never gave a release date for it? You can complain but it's not like they said that N3DS would be out a CERTAIN DATE or with the next update, did they?
You complain because you got let down from your OWN expectation.

We do know it is coming anyway, we don't know when.
I don't give it that much time ahead of us, maybe a month or two tops.

They simply demonstrated that it worked on N3DS, but that was only Gateway Mode.
A lot of things need to be ironed out with the new systems, and my guess is that it is because such systems didn't have native 4.5 FW to begin with.
