But their price was above the market price before last night! It was not an error. It's a completely different situation, and an abuse of the system.

Well if a trusted seller asks Amazon to cancel orders to change their prices, which is reasonable for them to be able to catch up with the current rising trend, Amazon won't deny their request, especially since this high demand was so sudden and Amazon may not even realize how often this is happening. It will all settle down in a week or two.

That sucks. Mine shipped from an Amazon seller with no issue. You should report them/give 1 star feedback.

I think you can only rate them if the order was fulfilled

and reporting them is pointless since they didnt break any of amazons seller rules

you can rate them when an order is cancelled, i've done it many times.

It is not against the rules to cancel a sale, however it goes against your performance report.

Sent them an email, and told Amazon about them. Apparently they can't do anything. And I can't leave feedback on a cancelled order, or BELIEVE ME, I would.

Oh, I added that to my watch list. 20 pieces sold out within hours at $20.41, one person buying 2, probably trying to make a profit. I myself didn't bother to get one because I'd rather wait a see what the homebrew scene will look like once Nintendo starts to battle it with firmware updates.

Yesterday morning, there were ~3 gamestops with copies. I picked one up.

This morning, thought about getting one for a friend. Went to the store locator and saw "No Location with item in stock within 100 miles" (or something like that). They sure got snapped up fast!

I bought my PAL version from eBay sealed for 49.99€ (shipping from Spain included).
I couldn't find a copy in any store in Porto, Portugal.
I kinda regret it now because i could have used that money to get a GW or SKY3DS (if the exploit works with any), even though im with the latest 3DS Firmware...

There are literally no copies in Las Vegas, NV. I checked the "buy online" and "pickup at store" options for all stores within a 100 mile radius of where I live, for:
Best Buy
Walmart
Kmart
Sears
JCPenney
GameStop

Since the game is no longer in the inventory systems for Toys R Us and Target, I called two local stores and had them look up the item via the barcode number. The employees both said that no Target/Toys R Us stores in Las Vegas have it.

To be extra sure, I also drove to a local Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us last night and checked their clearance shelves to see if maybe it was sitting on the shelf but out of their system (occasionally happens with some old items). No luck.

I also checked ALL of the items on Craig's List that had "3ds" in the name. Nobody was selling the game, standalone or as part of their collection.

I'll be calling some local hobby shop/small game stores next. Was planning on going to one last night called Game World, but they seem to have closed down.

Someone bought all of Walmart's stock of the game. Google cache says it was in stock before this big announcement.

If I see a copy in a bargain basement ( i know a few) that might not be aware of the situation of this scalping bullshit and charging extortionate prices, i'll possible do what Neodraven is doing, as this really annoys the hell out of me. Fuck all this high demand, high price shit. The exploit is free, yet people charging this kinda of money, users would be better off tracking down a 4.5 console and get a gateway.

i am having the same issue in tamworth nh. to me it is strange though most people out by me are not into homebrew and i am in the middle of nowhere so the nearest gamestop has nothing. i have a small toys r us ill check but i doubt it. i dont have many options for stores lol.

Given that 3% of all Wii users installed the homebrew channel as reported by Team Twiizers... if you take 3% of the current 3DS hardware sales in NA, you get about 463,000 people that will want to install the Homebrew Channel on their 3DS. I would expect the price to skyrocket in the hundreds of dollars range, on Ebay within the month.

Unless Smea reveals more compatible games to boot the exploit, if any? But, if not and as you say, the prices are gonna sky rocket tremendously. £79.99 is the highest in the UK, as of typing this now, which works out $125 US.
