First, the big news: Grand Theft Auto V will arrive on PC on 27 January, 2015. This is a few months after the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One editions, both of which will appear this year, on 18 November.

As you may already know, GTA V is coming to PC as it already was announced, but now we have a release date!
Unfortunately the PC release will be the last on the list because the "next gen" version will be out first, which is scheduled for the 18th of November 2014 and the PC release is unfortunately coming only next year, on the 27th of January 2015.

The new version will come with new additional features, which are:
  • New weapons, vehicles and activities
  • Additional wildlife
  • Denser traffic
  • New foliage system
  • Enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more
  • New radio selections, with over 100 extra songs planned
  • Increased Multiplayer count in GTA Online
Here's a trailers as well!

UPDATE

All existing gameplay upgrades and Rockstar-created content released since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online will also be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with much more to come.

Existing players will be able to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC.

Maybe not many of you guys are excited for this, but I myself really am, because I waited for the PC version all this time, because I didn't wanted to buy a console just for one game! Maybe in the future I will, who knows...
Now only if RDR would be released too on the PC like it was rumored back in May it would be just fantastic....so yeah... a man can dream... :rofl2:

Putting everything aside, what do you guys think about the news? Angry for the delay or don't mind it?
I myself don't really mind it, because they'll have time to polish it more for us PC users, that if they do polish it of course! :P

Finallyyyyyyyyyy. Already waited for 2,5 years, a couple of months extra won't make it.
Hopefully not an abomination like GTA IV (especially DRM side, so annoying)
Yeah, let's hope they won't make any stupid GFWL stuff again. -_- Hate that stuff!
Steamworks would be neat just like they did with Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noire.
Finally let's pray for no Social Club Multiplayer Only, which maybe won't ever happen, but let's just hope, the tiniest bit... :P

lol, can't quote his post;
Did I get you by surprise? :creep: :tpi:

Is it called Grand Theft Auto because PC users will have to spend a grand to run this thing?

Dont talk about us like that you filthy casual.

any way we make up on money with our 75% steam sales. WHAT you still have to pay full price on digital?

Any reason for the PC delay? I mean the XBone and PS4 use pretty much identical architecture (with a few differences). I can't imagine that there's 2 months worth of issues still in PC (over holiday season when I imagine everyone's wanting time off) especially when there are leaked logs showing PC version being developed back with the 360 and PS3 versions.

This annoys me. It won't make me buy a PS4 and GTAV it just means that if I want to play GTAV online with my friends I have to make do with paying Microsoft for the privilege on my 360 -_-

No kidding, I'm all for pirates having trouble but when legitimate users are screwed over, it's really depressing.

I'd assume setting up the online infrastructure stuff for the GTA online part of the game. Also a rush for console versions to release before the holidays, in order to maximize sales--I'm sure the PC version would have a smaller profit margin during this time than the console peasantry, making it more acceptable to put off for bit longer.

I'm still surprised by how many people didn't know about the update log that was on-disc. PC was mentioned forever on there.

I'm late for the bbq sauce discussion and I have opinions

Sweet Baby Rays is like baseline for a decent/good bbq sauce, but nothing outright incredible

Stubbs is a pretty damn good sauce that I think you'll find on most grocery shelves as I don't think it's regional

    This shit though

Best bbq sauce I've ever bought on a grocery store shelf
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
smokey flavor that reminds me of beef jerkey on top of a really rich kind of bbq sauce. Heat level that is a nice zing, not overwhelming, but it tingles all the way down your throat

We all should have free health, dental, vision care, and make the college kids pay for the schooling, f that college forgiveness plan our govt doing now, its really not fair for all others in the past that had to pay for they're schooling anyways (like me, with 2 kids I paid to send to college in the past)

@Sicklyboy - the comparison would be forgiving all medical debt, not making healthcare illegal!
  • cearp @ cearp:
Although I still don't agree, medical debt is rarely a choice, whereas enrolling in university is certainly a choice

College costs, college loans, book prices, the entire thing is predatory, oft touted as essential to a successful life for my generation and the ones since, and completely unaffordable without putting you through an insane financial hardship for literal decades in many situations.
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Many of the same issues can be seen for the insanely predatory healthcare and health insurance system in the US
