Gaming Mario Kart 8 New Trailer

Not gonna lie, that looks great! The graphics and extra pretty stuff going on around the level is just beautiful to see! It is also looking like they've included two new items that are actually useful. The racoon tail was pants and so was the "7" item but the plant and the boomerang actually look like they could be fun and useful.

Go play MK7 then. MK8 is there for the Wii U cause it will look much better and fun than if it is on the 3DS.

What I wanna know about is that damn blue shell - I have heard there's some form of custom item option in there somewhere, now for pure multiplayer laffs with my kids I don't mind it, but removing the pos at other times would be a big plus!
Looks like stockpiling might have gone too - this I'm not as fussed about as it was 'sort of' cheating anyway, but I can see some of the die hard fans grumbling if true.

The retro tracks look fantastic anyway! Pity they don't repeat as MK7 had easily some of the best, and I'd have loved to have seen some of them get the rework treatment, maybe in the future ehh...

No one in my house will touch the Wii U, so we never bought one.

(Heck, the only console for TV we have, is PS1)

Just thought i would share this, this is a side by side comparison of the Wii and Wii-u versions of Moo Moo Meadows. I recommend fullscreening the video to get the best view of it. Music (for me) is better on the wii version but the graphics... from just 1 jump of generation in console. Look at the detail of the farm and windmills in the background. Who said the Wii-u cant compete in the graphic department?

Yeah, the graphics are great.. but what else? It's just another Mario Kart - this time with the koopa kids.
Wait a second.. the koopa kids? Out of all the characters from the franchise, they choose.. the koopa kids.

What's wrong here? Does anybody care about these guys? Only reason they exist is to jump on their heads.

Anyway, I'm happy for the people who are actually excited. Even if I dont understand it.
But I also read here that there are really existing games that are worth to buy a WiiU. Can't see those either - I wish I would.

Still waiting for Bayonetta 2! =)

What I'm waiting for is maybe a real new addition, something that turns all around a bit. But you're absolutely right - it's fun we all search for. When I will play Mario Kart WiiU, the fun will surely coming back to me in one second - and I do not not even realize. Until then I hope for the best! =)

I thought so too when it was announced.

In basic the system will stay the same .. there is only a new story, items, graphics, characters, music and I think a coop mode.

Think I read that before anywhere above me.
