You're getting on plaza and mk7 only mii that 3DS decided you should see, but noone stops 3DS to get ALL the data left on the server and use only the necessary, recycling the other. I'm hundred percent certain about that but we need 3 3DS systems to check this for sure. Until then let assume that SpotPass data transferred by 3DS as one bulk and only then decoded and presented as an application slots. For point2point spotpass that was enough, it easier to receive and transfer stretpass data on the move, as it was initially intended. The limited number of streetpass slots points to that Nintendo tried to limit the amount of data to send.
I ready th check the guess but need two people who have a spare hour today after 2300 UTC+4

I have also a Teken 3D which 20 SP slots fills on over 4 days, while I'm getting full of SSF4, DOA and MarioTennis every day. And yes,Tekken data is repeating, I've got same user with same cards several times in a row. So it is up to the game to filter received data.

It's already been done and confirmed. I was the first one to bring it up in one of these 2 threads. I seeded a Nintendo Zone with my Jap 3DS in the wild which I play Animal crossing on. I came by the next day with my NA 3DS that I don't play Ac on and passed it. By your theory then the AC data would just be gone. But 2 days later my mom passes the relay and gets Mii plaza data for a guy named Ryno69 (definitely not me) and my Jap 3DS Animal Crossing data. So there was at least 2 passes by non AC players between us. Guy after me in thread confirms it. Later while I was looking to see if our Japanese counterparts had figured out Homepass I see a 2Chan thread where they figured out about the games passing separately a day earlier.

Well, I tried that on my laptop with the Windows 7 method, and... Well, when it tried to shuffle to a MAC address, I got a blue screen. After that, my wi-fi card was disabled, so I had to enable it, but blue screen. In the end, I had to reinstall the driver. So massive failure on my part...

Hey i am using the ubuntu method.
Is there an easier way to cycle automaticly trough the MAC Addresses rather than always starting and stoping the service manually ? a 4 Min Rythm would be nice

I posted this a few days ago, it auto cycles when your DS disconnects (you could probably modify it to do a time cycle if you wanted).

I'm getting a similar situation, but I can actually receive data because I can get online and use the browser, but I am not getting any StreetPasses from my hostednetwork.

I'm using Windows 7 but with techtanium (to change the MAC address) and Virtual Router Manager. The connection yes just won't finish the last part (3DS to Internet).

Well I dont know whats the problem, I can only tell to make sure you have 2 internet cards; one to the internet and the other to the 3DS

Okay, I looked at my "Wi-Fi" adapter's MAC address via "ipconfig /all" and noticed that the MAC was not one of the primes as far as I can tell. So, I decided to try and run macshift to change the IP, but I get a BSOD each time I try to run macshift.

Any idea why I'm getting BSOD?

If either of you know your card model number and revision (like Netgear WNA1100 V3) that could be helpful.. I could possibly find another driver.

Atheros AR9281

I have found a custom driver that might fix my problem. I'll give it a go as soon as my son gives me the chance, though any opinions before then would still be appreciated.
