For years we've, or I've, been wanting a handheld Smash Bros. and yet here we are. lol

Except now that I've learned that Smash on Wii and 3DS isn't a shared experience. The systems are going to have different graphic types, and different levels.Its not going to be this cross-platform, online multiplayer haven I was anticipating.

The 3DS version looked better than I thought it would.

It scared me for a moment because I thought I was looking at the WiiU version. I was like, "Ew?".

But for the 3ds it looked alright. Should be a load of fun.

Wrong, This titles been confirmed to have 3DS-Wii U Connectivity like Monster Hunter, how it's going to work who knows, but if you were seriously anticipating that the consoles were going to be cross platform over wifi keep in mind there was no news for SSB until now. You're thinking way too hard have some optimism christ. Doesn't matter regardless because both will most likely have online play.

if Sony did cross-play with PSASBR between Vita and PS3, why can't nintendo do the same??
played online with a friend and 0 lag, he was playing on the PS3 and I on my Vita seeing the tv screen most of the time, the Vita hosted the game.

one thing that i don't understand is why any Namco-Bandai character is on the roster until now, isn't supposed that Namco is developing along with team Sora???

It was announced over a year ago that they thought of releasing a smash bros on both platform... only now we got the trailer... Woop dee doo

you are gonna have to tell us how you KNOW that it won't happen.... they already made it where you can transfer saves from cart to the system (for the digital copies of game if you want to switch or buy before taking a rental copy back). they could easily have a downloadable side app to extract your character info from other games

Yes that's true, but it's ridiculously highly unlikely enough that I can confirm this.

Hah I feel trolled, didn't realize Wii Fit Trainer was in. Heard about her on another site and assumed someone was being an idiot.

Also the fact Villager got in gives me hope for the Fire Emblem Awakening Avatar character to get in, would be awesome to be able to pick which gender you want to play as with both or possibly customize them
