My God how much more fast paced of a game it is than Brawl! Sakurai mentioned balance tweaks and even a bit of combo moves in the Direct, all my worries of a Brawl 2.0 are put to rest.
Remember that Sakurai prefers the gameplay of Melee so I think this may very well become the definitive title in the series.

And they are working with Namco, so it's just that much better.

Melee with as much content, if not more ,as Brawl.

Are they just calling it SSB Wii u/3ds or they haven't thought of a name yet?

Brawl was jam packed with content, hope that's the case. With the extra developing muscle they have they'll get things done much faster for sure.
It's always the same deal with titles, Luigi's Mansion 2, Yoshi Island, Zelda 3DS etc. I just hope they don't go with Universe as it's way too predicable.

I really dont get why everyone loves melee. I mean, it was the first SSB I played but I thought Brawl was way more fun. The only thing I didnt like was random slipping.
Speed, mechanics, tripping and balancing issues with character like Ike and Meta Knight. I played a lot of Brawl for its massive content but once I felt finished with that I was back with Melee, it is still the preferred game between me and my friends whenever they're over. Melee doesn't really have a nostalgia factor I think as much as the original does, I played it much later so that's maybe why.

Melee's gameplay is just much more well thought, even the guy who created it likes the gameplay of that title more.

Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U - final names, may release at different times, 3DS struggles, no DLC plans

The following info comes from an IGN interview with producer Masahiro Sakurai.

- the two versions might find themselves completed at different dates
- the 3DS is facing some challenges
- for 3DS, they're struggling with how to accommodate characters that incorporate more than one fighter, such as the Ice Climbers
- official game titles are Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
- no plans for DLC at this time

Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS won't feature tripping

Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS will not use touch screen controls
