I just want pirated ROMs to load from SD, whether we need to buy a flash cart or not. I don't care if it's an SD loader, or a ROM loader from flash cart like the DS. I just want to play ROMs for free, just like 99.9% of the R4 and DSTwo owners do. And somebody needs to leak us the game titles so we can shop for an exploitable game BEFORE they go batshit expensive. (Duh, fucktards)

NOW PLEASE RELEASE THE NAMES OF THE EXPLOITABLE GAMES.
Well if nobody knows the title, how is it going to suddenly become expensive? That will only happen once people actually know the name of the game i.e. once the name is released. Either way, the game will increase in value at approximately the same rate, regardless of the time the name is launched. It is not possible that one game will suddenly jump up to selling for hundreds of dollars/pounds/euro/etc. on ebay etc. and then get announced as the name of the game.

It's not a case of "announce before the price goes up". It's a case of "announce and then the price will go up" (because of the announcement).

Don't throw around names like the one you put in your post, especially when your post is ridiculously stupid.

EDIT: Anyway, all of this could be redundant; it's quite possibly a fairly popular game, in which case the second hand market won't be the place to turn. In the past when games have seen huge price spikes, it's because they're not widely sold any more, so people turn to places like ebay. That sort of thing doesn't happen if the game is still widely available (e.g. Twilight Princess for the Wii, used for Twilight Hack; AFAIK, there was never much market for ridiculously overpriced copies).

My point was, I want to get the game(s) before the hack is released, before the prices go up online and are no longer available in retail. I hack consoles for money, and I need to make a killing hacking 3DS consoles for people.

And SifJar told you why that makes no sense.
"Well if nobody knows the title, how is it going to suddenly become expensive? That will only happen once people actually know the name of the game i.e. once the name is released."
If they told you the name now, it would become expensive.

The fact that that you plan to charge for this is quite insulting to the people who actually make the software. Have you heard of Homebreware?

.... Im sorry man, but do you seriously charge people to hack consoles and devices for them when the hack comes out in a more usuable format for normal people? That is seriously low, thats like charging people money for jailbreaking their iphones when you could do a simple google search and learn how. Oh, btw, even though it would still take them a while, If nintendo knew what game/games were usable for this, and they knew it has to do with a ROP Save Userland Exploit, then you would seriously be SCREWING with everyone else. I really don't like scorning people, but you really need to calm down.

some people do make money doing mods, and to some it is despicable because it is essentially reselling the opensource exploits not meant to be sold.

What these people believe is that their value is the research they did to execute said mod with experience and the guarantee it will work. This research and guarantee to some is considered pathetic.

What is ironic is I see this in every good modding hobby, satellite television, cable modems, cell phones, video game consoles, anything where those can profit can will because they don't think it is wrong.

More ironic, those who do mod4cash usually got jank skills, legit hackers don't do bitch work.

Guys, stop criticizing everyone else on my thread. The people who are actually doing stuff like this must have a legit reason to do it. Not everyone can make a living through a normal job-and if you have the know how, why not? Not everyone can jailbreak on their own-nor do they all have the time to learn-if they can't do it at all. And besides, if you're going to go through the trouble of putting up ads, meeting the people and putting out your time-then you might as well charge a bit for that labor-or even teach them how to do it so that they can do it themselves. Unless he's charging them like, $200. Then I'll shoot him myself. LOL

Last part made me lol XD
The only REAL problem with what he posted was that he wanted a title leak. Stupid Idea. Period.

Well, anyways, all I can think of right now is buying a 3DS thats been trashed off of eBay and start having a little fun with it. If its still alive by then, Ill use it as a guinea pig for the exploit/ program installation software comes out for some sort of custom modifications.

Once the 3DS gets homebrew, I'm only looking forward for NEW and improved emulators using the 3DS processor, the supercard dstwo is only capable of so much. However I HATE the fact that there are people already claiming all they want to do is fucking pirate 3d games. This is not cool. It also gives hombrew just a bad image overall. But the reality is homebrew can do so much for legit uses. Let's say you own a bunch of 3d games, ds, snes, gba or more games. With homebrew it could be possible to just place all those games on the 3ds's sd card! (64gigsdch?) Emulators would work really great. Plus other programs can be developed for it. The potential homebrew brings is great but if people are blatantly saying they want to steal right in our faces, that might piss of some devs and might complicate matters. My philosophy and THE ONLY reason you should ever download any retail copies (if this becomes possible) is to TRY the game temporarily, check it out and see if you like it. If you do, BUY and support the devs! If not delete the game and be glad you didn't waste your money. I think it's all a matter of maturity, morality and financial status that are the main issues when it comes to this. Maybe my suggestion might be too much for some too.

Yes, I do charge for jailbreaking iPhones. Because people around me aren't that bright, and are too lazy to figure it out themselves. So they always OFFER to pay me for such a task. If they don't have cash, I charge them in food or Coffee. Calm the fuck down, you act like this is the end of the world. I know alot of people that charge for these things, it's fairly commonplace to offer such services. I still have people asking me to hack their Wii, offering me cash to do so. I just do it, they usually drop me a $10 or $20, and we're all good. They don't mind that I have to download and prep everything, and then execute the hacks. They simply don't want to take the time to do so, and it's a quick buck for me.

i hope we never get to play roms on the 3ds all i want is homebrew
I agree with you 100%

I'm only interested in this because of the emulation possibilities of the 3DS. Fingers crossed for full resolution NES emulation, GB/GBC emulation(with any SGB border you want, like in Goomba), and full resolution SNES emulation...

And I will gladly buy all of my 3DS games, just as I bought all of my DS games.

Here's some news: emulation uses ROMs. It is also piracy, just piracy of older systems.

Though there are legally obtainable ROMs for older consoles (homebrew), people need to remember that copyright is valid for 75 years (at least in the US), so downloading a SNES game is the same offence as downloading a Wii game. I always find it rather comical when people take the stance that emulation isn't piracy when they're not emulating homebrew, especially when they say how much they're against piracy at the same time.

It's a programming oversight not to think of overly long strings, so I guess Nintendo pays big attention to this one from now on.
Wouldn't bet on that. The problem of Buffer Overflows isn't exactly new or uncommon.
When it was first published most programers doing these errors probably weren't even born. Maybe not even their parents.

No.....
At first excuse me for upper posts.i had exam and i was just in crazy mood....
And then if u own that game thats legal
In many countries, that is not true. Generally, you have the legal right to a backup, but you do not have the legal right to download such a "backup" off the internet; to be within the confines of the law, you must dump/rip the game yourself. In some countries (perhaps including Iran, I am not sure), this may not be the case and it may be legal to download copies of games you own, but in many, that is not the case.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
