I'd be pissed if that were true. We payed a hefty sum for those, it'd be a shame if others could get them for free via an exploit. I guess this is what it feels like to be a legal consumer.
You didn't pay sh*t for them! You were happy to buy a 3DS at the launch price and there was no hint of the 'Ambassador' games at the time. That's the price you pay for being an early adopter. Things go down in price all the time. I haven't been given a set of free cable tidies (or whatever) from Phillips just because the price of my TV came down by £50 a few weeks after I bought it.
You were lucky to get the free games in the first place. Nintendo didn't have to do that. I kind of wish they hadn't because in doing so, the sense of entitlement that early adopters generally have has sky-rocketed well past their usual levels.
That being said, I agree that as they
were a gift from Nintendo to you select few, it wouldn't be great if other people were able to get hold of them by other means. They should remain exclusive. But you didn't pay for them!
