yeah the sky is the limit, on the zelda3 you can replace the hero supereasy.Hopefully in the future we get an option to use the updated Luigi and Bowser sprites that were added in Super Mario All Stars + World.
Emulation always introduce input lag. While this looks interesting, the Switch hardware is more that good enough to run the game in an emulator without problems.
The idea of this projects is not emulate but run as a native application, so no lag, no slow FPS, etc.Emulation always introduce input lag.
Yep I know. The idea of this projects is not emulate but run as a native application, so no lag, no slow FPS, etc.
Thanks for the quick reply.
as far I can see you see more of the game, there is some type of side scrolling when you get the sides. Thanks for the quick reply.
Is it just stretched or does it actually show more of the game on screen?

This is definitely stretched and not true widescreen.
I don't have a switch folder in
smw/src/platform
All I have in here is win32
For me i did build it using the pr and works great, the folder switch will shown only when you commit the pr.
Forgive me but what does "PR" mean? For me i did build it using the pr and works great, the folder switch will shown only when you commit the pr.
https://www.gitkraken.com/learn/git/tutorials/what-is-a-pull-request-in-gitForgive me but what does "PR" mean?
On my Windows PC, on the MSYS environment with DevKitPro installed I do use the next commands:oh "Pull Request" got it

Next question is how do I get the data from the PR?
pacman -Syu --needed --noconfirm git make pkg-config switch-dev switch-sdl2 switch-tools
cd ~
git clone --recursive https://github.com/snesrev/smw
cd ~/smw
cp "C:\ROMS\smw.sfc" ~/smw/
git fetch origin pull/3/head
git checkout -b pr3 FETCH_HEAD
cd ~/smw/src/platform/switch
make -j$(nproc)
C:\ROMS\
you need the original ROM to run the build.git fetch
and git checkout
commands, they commit the PR #3 which in this case is the Switch support pending to be approved on the repo.
