Is anyone else getting a Stack/Code Dump when trying to connect with the 3.8.9 trainer, after a small game update from the game? (The update was straight form the console didn't find anything on websites.)

The problem is most likely due to the recent 1.2.0 update (or DLC 1.0), the trainer hasn't been updated to support the latest 1.2.0 update yet.
Wait a bit for it to get updated with the new offsets, then it will work fine.
Check the Releases page on GitHub for the trainer to be on the lookout for the updated version (most likely 3.9.0)
Yes. The latest version of the trainer works fine with the latest version of the game and DLC.
