They are not exactly the same. They have the same boot.dol (the one contained in the Marcan's ISO template) but they use different templates. It seems this disc (the one you mentioned) is quite "old" but I didn't find it on the web so I did a quite similar one in May. The point is that now the version of my Wii's firmware is 4.1E (official and dopped with the Dop-IOS application) and I realized it doesn't work anymore. Someone will say that that's because I don't have the trucha bug but I have it in all the IOS installed on my Wii (I verified it with SignCheck). I have to admit that I don't know what the reason is. I did this new autoboot disc because I wasn't able to patch the old one and make it work on my Wii.

thank you, zantzue i fixed my bannerbricked wii with your disc!
i bricked my 4.0j wii installing a bad wad.
then i managed to add a sunkey chip on it. and set the region lock off.
i boot into the recovery mode using a third party gc pad, then insert the disc
the wii boot into HBC, and i uninstall the bad wad using wad manager then my wii is back in normal!
thank you~

its not really a anti-brick disc now is it, i mean it doesn't actually "stop" you bricking which is the meaning of the statement anti-brick

and I've seen, i don't know but around 5-6 HBC loading discs in the past 2-3months, what with a full thread of homebrew forwarders and channel loading .iso's in the Homebrew Section

this isn't nothing new.

Now that everyone has either bootmii or preloader, this IS quite useless. The fact that most people now have softmods means almost noone is going to use this.

What a dipshit this is extremely helpful to new wii's.

thats funny because i can remember this iso exoisting LONG AGO and as far as i know JIZMO MADE IT or at least the FIRST ONE....

and a few others but speccifically check out this one...

and his is so damn pimp i can use it from starfall (i have no modchip at all running corps v1) and it works in Usb Loader CFG i simply added it with WBFS manager I dont know how it works (wiipower can surely shed light on that) but ive used it to recover it seems to me jizomo had a ISO forwarding HBC long before any of us did i have had this link since back when softmii opened

I hope you meant to say "this is nothing new" if you're going to correct someone else's language in the same breath.
