Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars on Super Nintendo. It was my first RPG and my favorite game of all time. I still play it to this day and have beaten it more times than I can remember. It's not very hard, and not altogether long, but it has a very special place in my heart as my first RPG ever. So epic.

For me, probably Pokemon Crystal. I lost my Silver cartridge so I only had this 2nd gen game. But man, I played that game so much. You can play it through, restart, and play it again tons of times without getting bored.

Any of the "Tales of" series games, but if I had to choose one I'd have to go with Tales of Synphonia.
BTW all Tales games are 100 times better than any Final Fantasy.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Not the DS version, not the Wii version (if there is one), but the PC version. Very epic.

Painkiller. Original. Not the Battle out of Hell expansion, not Overdose. Painkiller.

And the Metal Gear games, obviously. As well as a few other FPS games and a handful of RPGs whose names I can't be bothered to dig up.
