i have a jailbroke ipod touch and i updated my ipod firmware and rejailbroke it but now the cracked youtube app wont download videos and i tried reinstalling it but that didnt do anything.

btw i used an app to keep the hombrewed apps before i updated should i reformat then try again?

Haven't you got a free automatically pre-installed youtube app on your iPod anyway?

What app are you talking about that saves your homebrewn (...?) apps?

ctacked youtube app allows you to download youtube videos so i can watch it when i aint got wifi

i forgot to say it wont let me download videos it fails the moment it starts

Yourtube does not work on 4.0 and above right now.look up mxtube on cydia or mitube on your app installer.

Ahhh, yourtube

If yourtube doesn't work, you can reinstall it. (which you have already done multiple times)
Or... Restore your iPod :/
Sync before you do this, and save your shsh, and save your jailbroken apps to rock.
Or make a full back-up of your iPod with SSH, and save your iPod to your computer or whatever...
Not recommended because this takes a lot of time.

You can always try mxTube, it rocks

Also enables you to download videos in lower quality

Ssh is browsing your iPod files from your computer, you can copy, delete paste... edit and stuff, just like you can with my computer on your computer

(look up a tutorial on the internet, how to ssh into your ipod, sites like modmyi are trustable, you can also look it up on youtube, winscp is the client)

SHSH's name is maybe similar to ssh, but extremely different

I'm really sorry, but shsh is quite hard to explain (and most of all, a big story

and I'm quite lazy atm)
What you have to do is go to Cydia, and then click make my/your life easier on top (iirc)
This enables you to downgrade firmwares that are not being signed by apple anymore.
Look up a tutorial for this too, downgrading is useful when tere is no jailbreak available for the newest firmware at that moment.
Or when apple f*cks something up, you probably want to downgrade
