yellow screen after updating with Daybreak

I had everything working but I was on version 9.X.X so I downloaded the latest update from darthsternie and installed it with Daybreak. After rebooting and going back into CFW (emuNand) I got a flat yellow screen and it just froze there. Does anyone have any idea what might have happened?

Have you got the latest Atmosphere too? The usual order of updating the hacked Switch is Hekate, Atmosphere, sigpatches, HOS. It seems you started with HOS.

You have incompatible files in your atmosphere/contents folder somewhere. Delete that folder, extract the entire Atmosphere .zip again, allowing to overwrite everything, then reinstall your sigpatches.

EDIT: or don't delete that folder, if you didn't already update Atmosphere and hekate first. You definitely should have done that first. Won't brick you though, just update them now. And any problems after that... delete atmosphere/contents.

I’m having the same issue after updating my firmware, I’ve updated all of the requirements (Atmosphere, Hekate, Sigpatches) and I’m still getting a yellow screen. Is there anything I can do or am I screwed?

I was having the same issue, managed to fix.
Here's a step by step what happened to me:
Updated Hekate, rebooted, all fine
Updated Atmosphere, rebooted, all fine
Updated Sigpatches, rebooted, all fine
Updated firmware to 18.1.0 , rebooted, yellow screen
Tried removing contents folder, didn't work, tried removing anything related to sigpatches, didn't work, tried copying fusee.bin (forgot before) to root (as payload.bin) and to hekate payloads folder, didn't work, then lastly I decided to copy the atmosphere update again to my SD and overwrite everything again, that worked.
Not sure what went wrong after updating the firmware, but that's how I solved my issue here, hope it helps someone.
