Hacking XML cheats help

This really sucks.

I pick the XML cheat database and rebuild, then It freezes when its updating! I mean it just hangs there on the "rebuilding cheat file" thing!

Edit: OMG i waited so long and theres no cheats for scribblenauts..

use USRCHEAT.dat - choose DB - REBUILT!

you can set your default database as usrcheat.dat from system options

Doesn't NitroHax use the cheats.xml in its folder?
Use usrcheat.dat for games and a small cheats.xml in NitroHax.

eh? I didn't get any cheats with the download.. So i went to the database and got 'em myself..

Get R4cce and a copy of usrcheat.dat
Delete every game you don't need in the usrcheat.dat
Save it as a cheats.xml

Ack! My ds game super mario 64 is australian.

the cheats for it are european.


Is there a way to find the game ID of my australian game, so I can change the game ID or something?

Make a new game entry in the cheat file. Then find your game with the ... button and voila it shows your game id. Then change the game id of the European cheats. Delete the new cheat entry after.

The australian game is legit, not a rom. And the Cheats are European D:

You can try dumping the rom from the game. Then find out the game id. Since I don't see any cheats for an australian version of super mario 64. Maybe try another region codes as well? (IDK if that works)
