If one person got it early, most likely it'll be uploaded on a private torrent site between today and thursday afternoon.

There are already quite a few people who got the game early. They just don't bother to support the bad piracy community. ;(

On the one hand I like that. Most pirates won't buy the game even if it isn't up for download, but it's still nice to think that at least some more people will end up buying the game (and supporting the developers - they have to eat something too, after all). On the other hand I would really like to play the game a few days early... sigh

nah.. most people are ignorant as how to pirate games, you would be surprised how much of a small margin piracy is.
also on supporting devs, i refuse to pay the cash this will cost to import to the US when NoA could have easily brought Xenoblade over here, had they done that i would have bought this in a heart beat, it's not often a great rpg game like this comes to the wii and comes out of japan, so heck yeah NoA ever decides to bring it our way i'll snatch it up at my local retailer.
not to mention you'd have to hack your system to play it on a ntsc console anyway(big no no if you ask big N's advice) or buy a pal console and a pal supporting tv set(bat shit retarded to have to do this for just 2 or 3 games).

This is, quite honestly, a stupid line of thinking. With not buying Xenoblade you aren't punishing NoA - they don't care and they don't have anything to do with the game anyway. The people you are punishing are Monolith Soft, who spent years developing the game, and NoE, who went out and localized the text and voice heaviest Nintendo game to date. It's an expensive endavour that needs to be supported - especially because of the circumstances. NoE won't do the same thing again if Xenoblade can't recoup the localization costs, which means that you would shoot yourself in your very own foot. And don't make the mistake to think it's "Nintendo". NoA and NoE are two entirely different companies.

Blaming NoA is the laziest excuse for piracy ever.

I can live with people pirating because they are too lazy to spend money, and I can live with people pirating because they want to play a great game early. I can't live with people who make up silly excuses for why they are pirating.

this just poped up around google "[WII][PAL]Xenoblade Chronicles.iso" it's a torrent dunno if legit says 6.32GB so it could possibly be it's close to Zero's scrubbed with out update file size.

well you aren't dead yet so apparently you can live with it.
i'm not justifying anything nore am i trying to i'm a grown man i know right from wrong, just saying in a nut shell it's not worth the money i don't really have to import it, and it's even more expensive if you go the truly legit route of buying a pal wii and television,so rather than starve for the next two weeks of this month to enjoy this game, i will simply pirate it even though it is "wrong" to do so.
i know Reggie is gonna come up to my house any minute and drop kick me in the balls for it, and i'll accept that punishment when it come my way.
end of discusion.

It's fake too xD... ".iso" files should have full size (4.7 or 8.54)

All the guys that are going to pirate this game should be ashamed of themselfes. These are the people who constantly cry and bitch about japanese games not being localized for the western market. And now that perhaps the best JRPG of this generation gets a localization , the same guys are pirating it instead of supporting it. No wonder why NoA won't localize this since people are going to pirate it. I wouldn't wonder if The Last Story and Pandoras Towers are going to be canceld.

You seem to be completely ignoring the fact that he's from the U.S. How does not buying the game, contribute to him shooting himself in the foot when NoE doesn't distribute for his region?

I think they're pissed at people making up excuses for pirating the game actually.

Ah well, I've bought the game. BTW you guys should be angry at NoA who don't want Wii owners to play hardcore mature games for hardcore mature gamers but to play casual shovelware.

Xenoblade Chronicles distribution in the US depends on the EU version sales.

I know huh. People register to a website that highly features content that "back-up" friendly, yet wanna act all self-righteous. They should practice what they preach and delete just about every rom and iso file on their computers. As well as every mp3 they have as well. So if you have any pirated media on your computer then you shouldn't be talking, regardless if it's "only a couple" of files.

Nope.....
NoA has pretty much said no to both this and the last story, people patitioned and even preorded the games on amazon to try to show NoA we want it, they just don't give a shit.

They did say recently that they will determine if they will bring these games over depending on the sales in Europe. Unless they now saying that they never said that (though it's on there twitter and facebook), america will get it because all the people here in america is more likely going to import from Europe

i don't like that logic if we all import it from Europe then NoA will have no reson to release it here, and after all the back and forth they have been doing with these games in particular i don't trust anything they say.
