Apparently someone found a cheat to zero out the supplies, which fixes it. Just tested it and got the quest right away.
I Tried this code but i still have all my iota colony goods sadly, is there something that is needed to do to trigger?
No, for iota colony goods, it become 0 immediately, you can check your inventory
There will be a non sell-able item with quantity 0 there
I can confirm the cheat absolutely works and works instantly with no triggers. If it's not working for you then you either: are using the wrong version of the game (it needs the update) or simply haven't activated the cheat. I think Yuzu has different steps to activate cheats. Try Ryujinx if you haven't. It has the easiest cheat interface. Moving over your saves is very simple. You can move them right back after the quest unlocks.
Whenever I use the max nopon coin and gold code, it seems to permanently break art canceling outside of the basic fusion arts > individual arts/talent arts. I'm not sure if it's interfering with
members only
or something else. Turning the code off doesn't fix it, and the problem persists if I save and reload afterwards. It doesn't affect saves where I didn't use the code.
Edit: Forgot to mention my game version is 1.1.0 and on the Switch console.

Unfortunately this didn´t work, this cheat crashes the game right away unless Im inside the menu when I activate the cheat (and crashes when I close the menu), checked my inventory in the menu anyways and still have the same amount of colony Iota goods (ver. 1.1.0, playing on Switch, chapter 6). Any clue or alternative fix for Alexandria's ascension?
If that doesn't work you're out of luck as far as I know. I have no idea why it isn't working for you when it worked for everyone else. Were you using cheats to break the limit for items to get them to 999? I have no idea why people use those cheats. They cause so many problems with the game and just using standard infinite items and item multipliers work fine and don't break your game. If you didn't do that I have no idea why it isn't working. Try switching emulators, changing the location where you are, etc.
Use the savegame editor to set colony Iota goods to 0. ID 2152 I think, I don't know if it's different in your game. Backup save and see for yourself, check the number before editing.

You can simply put quantity value to 0 and it works perfect, but the Iota Goods still shows in your inventory in-game with 0 quantity. If you don´t want to have it in your inventory at all, just change the ID 2152 to any other collectible you have, then you´ll have 2 of the same item repeated in your inventory list, from there go to the game and just sell the "cloned" collectible.
Hi everyone, was wondering if someone made or could make a cheat/mod that halves XP? I remember this type of modifiers were possible on the og xenoblade, but I haven't found any for the switch games.

Edit: I found what I was looking for in the other xeno 3 modding thread (why are there multiple ones??). Anyway, I'll leave the yuzu cheats I made based on Eiffel2018's cheats here for anyone who wants them, they reduce the xp gained by either 25%, 50% or 75%

Thanks, went quite far ahead in the story before I noticed the bug happening but the cheat fixed it.
Can't make a definitive conclusion for your request because it's either 1 or 999 qty of Art of Flow for me because of the Nopon coin cheat setting it to 999 and the temp fix setting it to 1.
But as you said the NopCoin cheat bugs out Art of Flow because if it's on, art cancelling doesn't work even if the quantity of Art of Flow is 1. I had to turn the NopCoin cheat off first and then toggle the temp fix cheat a couple times before it fixes the art cancelling because I tried with both of them on.
So I think it's the NopCoin cheat that's stopping Art of Flow, not necessarily the qty of it. But as I said, not conclusive.
Now I just hope nothing else breaks because all of my key items are 999 again because of the NopCoin cheat hahah.
