The Update most of us have strongly desired is soon upon is. Microsoft has revealed that it's June update will allow for external drive storage of games, apps and more, as well as added in features such as Real Names for friends list, and some improved smart glass features.

As someone with a rather large Xbox One library already and a huge Digital Downloads enthusiast, this is perfect news for me. As of now this makes the Xbox one and Wii u the only two of the big 3 platforms that supports External Storage (whereas the PS4 only allows for replacement of internal storage.)

Also interesting is the tease of "Being able to move games to your external drive and bring them to a friends house for play." This calls back to Xbox's original forecasts of being able to take your digital content around with you and playing on an xbox that isn't yours. But how this will work exactly has yet to be elaborated on.
