XBOX classic HD output?

I just bought second hand XBOX moded with UnleashX v.0.38.0515A. It read burned on DVD games without problems. The problem is that region is PAL and I'm stuck with standard composit video output. I also bought component cable from ebay but when I plug it to my TV I have only sound no picture. I read on internet that only north american (NTSC) xbox-es can output thru component cable. Is there any way so I can use the componet cable or change the region or something?

Look up for an app called enigma. It can change the video output from pal to NTSC

I trasfered thru FTP Enigmah app and started it from UnleashX dashbord. I choose NTSC and presed L trigger + R trigger + black button to reset. Now it Shows NTSC but still no image thru component cable. Also if i turn off and turn on the console it shows PAL again.

After opening enigma and pressing b to select NTSC go back to the ms dash and change video settings to accept 480p, 720p etc, should hopefully clear up your problem

When I go to MS dashboard the only video option is to change screen type to Normal, Letterbox or Widescreen

That's not true I have a PAL xbox and have component cables and it works fine.

Could be, but I bought some cheap cables off ebay too and they work. What settings have you tried?

i too have PAL xbox, enigma solved my problem. soul calibur 2 goes to 720p, i have even seen 1080i in some games.

Obviosly component won't work for me. If I use http://www.cable.bg/kabel.php?products_id=21002571 this type of SCART cable will I get beter picture quality or it is just a composite to SCART adapter without difference in quality?

I forgot to say that my XBOX have moded standalone composite exit together with it's AV exit.
OK when I use composite cable and go to System -> Settings -> System -> Dash Information (more information) it shows: Widescreen PAL60 standard AV pack
But while I use the composite output and plug the component cable into the AV port it shows: Advanced SCART AV pack (I still get the picture thru composite)
As I said I unplug the composite and plug the component cable I get only sound no picture. Then I tried change the region to NTSC but MS Dashboard still doesn't have any HD options. But the region is really changed to NTSC because MS dashboard now don't have the PAL60 option. And Enigmah also says current region: NTSC Any ideas?
