Hi All,

I have a xbox 360 iso and am trying to extract it using wx360 or Xbox backup creator v2.9 and the original file is 7.29gb but when i use either to extract it the extracted files are only 1.59gb.
Am i doing something wrong?

Cheers

The ISO is 7.29gb but the extracted content from the ISO maybe less depending on the game. Not every game uses the full 7.29gb

u will only be able to use those files on a jtag. otherwise, just burn the entire iso and don't extract anything.

Got a jtag and wish to delete systemupdate folder.
When the game is say 1.59gb do i have to still burn to dual layer or can i burn to dvd-r?

Cheers

I did once burn an extracted iso (borderlands update disc) to a single layer which I managed to boot although I was messing with other things so I had issues. Equally it could well be seen by the likes of xexmenu as a good file just in a different place.

Equally can you not just stick it on as a GOD file- we often suggest people grab a few of the Japanese shooters for this sort of thing (often they are but 700 megs when all is said and done)

It would be alot easier to give an answer if the OP told us what game it is he is trying to extract.
