is it possible to connect a wireless 360 controller to my pc (and have it work as a controller) via Play and Charge?
I currently have Vista + the current 360 controller drivers

Use Xpadder to map them to keyboard keys.Joe88 said:there is no way to play via the play and charge kit cable
its not connected to anything in the controller besides the battery
I have a wireless usb dongle that came with the 360 wireless controller
one complaint is most games cannot recognize the second analog stick and the rear trigger buttons
It's great for using it with PS2 and N64 emulators. I wouldn't really recommend it for the older, D-pad using emulators though, but if you're comfortable enough with it on your current wireless controller it's fine!juggernaut911 said:GAY!! okay, thnx
I'm about to get a wired controller for $17 so I don't mind that much, I have 9 feet of freedom too!
this would be cool for full screen emulators from my bed, yes?

Did you use the official Microsoft drivers? I could play San Andreas just fine with a controller, I'm pretty sure the 360 controller would work perfectly.Joe88 said:I was trying to use it for GTA:SA

Yeah, triggers on the 360 pad are touch sensitive so they aren't like other pads. Although, if I recall correctly, there should be an option called "Mouse look". If you turn that off it should work on the second analog.Joe88 said:it wont recognize the rear trigger buttons or the second analog stickSc4rFac3d said:Did you use the official Microsoft drivers?
