    Hello,

So I got this old xbox that an old friend of mine softmoded way back.

Now I booted it up again and bought some component cables for it.
It standard boots up xbmc. And when I got to settings the 720p and so on is greyed out.

What I figured out so far:
    -softmoded PAL xbox
    -running xbmc
-I can acces the folders trough FTP
-Need to do this to activate 720p: http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/wiki/Enable_HD_Video_On_A_Softmodded_Xbox

So first I need to convert to NTSC.
And for that I need to do stuff in step 3 I have no clue what they are talking about:
"You now have to disable the virtual eeprom on your softmod, so you can make the necessary changes to the video mode in the real eeprom. How you do this depends on which softmod you have. AND SO ON"

So I also need to know what softmod I'm running. And I have no clue.

Could someone help me activate 720p on this xbox without me ruining everything because I don't know what I'm doing. So kinda step by step like in that link but even more noob friendly?

The only thing my friend learned me is how to ftp more games to the xbox.

I thank you all in advance for your help.

    EDIT:
It also says it needs this:
XBMC running the default Confluence Lite skin

But the only skins I can select are: Project Mayhem III
    and MC 360

copy "eeprom_off.bin" to "E:\" and "E:\NKP11\" (this will cover having Krayzie 1.1.1 or NDURE 3.0/3.1 so this should cover all softmodding methods.
make a blank text file and save it as eeprom_off.bin and use FTP to copy it from a computer to the locations mentioned above.
now you can run "Enigmah" to change your video mode.
you can then follow the rest of the guide to enable HD modes.

wait a min, well at least this problem is solved (HALF A YEAR LATER)
