I honestly see nothing wrong with this transaction at all, except for you throwing an e-tantrum. Even through that, MCC handled themselves professionally, and courteously, and went above and beyond to make you happy, but you still cry like a baby that got his hand slammed in the door.

the bottom line here is, the ONLY thing MCC is liable for is the product they sell you, and nothing else. Okay, so you fucked up 2 drives...why would they pay for that? Im sure they have (like all mod chip sites do) have a disclaimer that they will not be responsible if a product, defective or otherwise, damages your property.

They did what they needed to do, the ball is in your court. Suck it up.

Edit: if anything, this has driven me to use MCC for my next purchase.

I've purchased from MCC once it twice and each time I was impressed with the shipping and the quality of my products. Last year I ordered an M3 Real, well, my dad did for Christmas, and by the time I got it, with the free 1GB MicroSD, I was very impressed with the packaging, it looked like it was handled carefully throughout the process of being packaged and I was very impressed to say the least. The only problem is that two of the six hinges on my M3 Real broke off. Completely my fault for trying to force it open, not MCC's fault. Anyways, kudos to you MCC, you are my main supplier for Modchips and Flashcarts

Erm, they're trustworthy. I bought my R4 from them, It was the original R4, no cheap knockoffs. It came from Canada to my house in the States within a week.

They're quite reliable. You just had a bad experience, I guess.

I'm new to the forums but used this thread prior to ordering from modchipcentral to see if they were reputable or not. Thanks! Just felt I should come back and confirm the company is reputable. They ship from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Too bad I didn't see the coupon code prior to ordering.

Regardless, my order was perfect.

Shipped the same day and arrived 7 days later due to customs, etc.

I had a less than stellar experience with ModChipCentral back in May. Recieved a Flatmii with a broken connector (for that small wire that goes to the usb port). Requested RMA, got a quick response. Shipped it back the next day (followed given instructions, of course) and never heard from them again. For all I know customs took it, but I was impatient anyhow and ordered a flatmod from GModz, whose shipment came really fast and well packaged.

I assumed that, had they received it, and if for any reason I was not entitled to exchange or refund, someone would have replied to me. Don't get me wrong, though. I don't necessarily harbor any ill will towards ModChipCentral; judging by this thread and the particular GBAtempers that have posted in it, they seem to be quite well respected. I suppose I should have been more persistent in following up with Sylvester, but I figured that it was just par for the course... you know, it's a mod-chip for crying out loud, shipped across the border via USPS and all, anything could've happened to it. Anyhow, I just let it go. The flat-mod served me well until the scene finally hacked the LU64+ and I've been in USB loader heaven ever since.

No hard feelings here.

Its not an excuse, but you seem to be on the attack from the get go. If you write a email with CAPs, and lots of !!!! and ???? you are being fuel by too much emotion. Better to calm down, and just be nice. Its a human you are attacking, not a robot.

I agree with OzModChips on this one; your stance is far too aggressive and accusatory from the beginning. Trying being polite; based on the responses you quoted from the ModChipCentral guy, he was certainly being polite to you despite your rudeness.

Nearly a year ago now I ordered my CycloDS from Modchipcentral, and received it just a few business days later. I was quite impressed with the service I got.

Just decided to vouch for MCC also. I ordered a few things for my Xbox360 a while back and after 2 hours of frustration it had to have been a defective part. I contacted MCC and clearly explained my problems and they told me to RMA it. They sent it back and all was good.
