Yeah you're supposed to use this version of wupinstaller.

thank u for all ur help. I'm a total noob when it comes to the wii u. I just hacked the virtual wii two or three weeks ago. I had no problems with that. with the wii u side, some things I find very vague especially for a noob.

what if u don't have a ticket? I can't even find it on that iso site. it's the xenoblade chronicles x dlc that I'm trying to install.

Xenoblabe is a free DLC download. The key is also available on that title key site.
It adds nothing but faster load times.

If you have the eshop version, then the "DLC" is already in there. the digital version should be approx. 19,2GB. If your game is that big in the data management then you have everything. So install only the update, like @zeldaism said: this is a free DLC that only contains additional data to speed up loading and rendering times within the game, witch the eshop(digital) version have "preinstalled".

As others have said you only need the update, the dlc will be useless unless playing from disc, not to mention the game will then weigh in at 30ishGigs installed, pointless.
