The 3DS doesn't have a slot it could use though, as far as I know, the one it has is merely for the charger, like the DS's, DS Lite's, DSi's and DSi XL's slots.
Ir/wifi attachment? No?
No. It'd require a tad more bandwidth than that.

More bandwidth than wifi?

Here's the possibilities I'm thinking:
- Dedicated 3DS Player, containing 3DS hardware, plugs into Wii U via USB
- Put regular 3DS in standby, and stream via wifi to Wii U (So 3DS --> Wii U console --> TV/Gamepad)

Actually thats a great idea. not sure about 3ds games, but just normal ds games would be nice.

That would be cool.

But completely implausible.

once homebrew come to the wii u (more than likely a long time if like the 3ds)

there wiil be a nds emulater like the wii

Yes. And how many DS games worked on that emulator...?

That's right, near none.

Lol do you really think the WiiU isn't capable of emulating DS games?

I'm not sure about emulating at FULL SPEED, but yes.

Also, if it were Ninty making the emulator (who wrote the compiler the games were made with) I'm sure they could make a dynamic recompiler that would run at a decent speed for eShop stuff.
