Okay, this is the gist of it.
If you're not stupid or clumsy, your G6 should only ever corrupt at most ONCE.
If you cleanly jam the cart into the connector, and cleanly remove the connector after using windows safe hardware removal, your cart should never corrupt. Ever.
So unless you put a bad program, a virus gets onto it, or any other user stupidity issues, the G6 is an extremely stable cart.
etc. etc.
Thanks for adding one to the end of a hundreds of patronising "RTFM" responses. Some of us do have carts that randomly corrupt while being written to. It's a defective cart. How many R4/M3 threads have you seen where the microSD card turned out to be the problem even though it was a known working brand/chip? Sometimes memory has errors that don't turn up on simple factory QA tests. Return it for replacement or live with it. I can live with it, it's a fantastic card for games, but the homebrew problems mean it's living in a drawer for now (but i haven't got round to testing 2.3 yet).
If homebrew doesn't matter, or you can wait for it to (maybe) be fixed, it's worth buying.
I actually prefer Mediaplay-Extend to MoonShell for it's ebook reader (though if ReadMore ever gets an update that will cease to matter).
