Hacking Wont recognise drive?

i partitioned an external hard drive and formatted it to wbfs using WBFS manager 2.2.2, and put it in my wii. it didnt recognise that the partition was wbfs and offered to format it for me. i ripped ssbb to it, and i put in in the pc to extract the iso, but it will not recognise the wbfs partition.

any help appreciated.

try formatting it using your wii? that's the way i did it to start, it's more reliable than an app on the computer.

it wont recognise it on the pc now...

well, you are using a partition, wasn it made as a "primary"? a primary WABFS partition will be recognised, and you can give it a letter in drivemanagement, at least, my HDD worked this way...

EDIT: i cant make it primary because it says it is unallocated space.

are you using drive manager as a formatting app? try to format this space to fat32, as a primary, then format it with the Wii, then it should show up as something, and you can give it a leter
