I wonder that FW16.1.0 is needed, update it and it should work as well with Atmo+sigpatches 1.5.5.

Super Mario Wonder works perfectly fine on my emuNAND (firmware 16.1.0, Atmosphere 1.5.5, Hekate 6.0.6, Sigpatches for firmware 16.1.0 and Atmosphere 1.5.5).
I would revert to v1.5.5 of the Atmosphere and update your emuNAND (or sysNAND) to 16.1.0 via Daybreak and try again.

When you say sigpatches are updated are you sure they are updated for Atmosphere 1.6.0? The once in the first post of the sigpatches thread here is only working up to 1.5.5

there is a nsp converted version floating around on the internet. Also try another installer. I used DBI with the XCI file.
