my wife really wants this game but we have a dslite
can you play dsi enhanced games on a ds lite with the r4? does enhanced mean dsi only or just some extra feats for dsis?

Did you search on the meaning of DSi Enhanced Games? It means they've got some extra features activated by having a DSi.

Official R4 firmware doesn't in part to it being over a year outdated (2008-04-24).
YSMenu, which uses the DSTT firmware, is compatible with some DSi games now (Like Assassin's Creed II: Discovery) and has the possibility to support them all at some point later on.
However -NO- firmware or card will support the DSi features of those games as even DSi flashcards on a DSi run in DS mode and not DSi mode.

well whatever firmware I'm running is some homemade firmware that runs zelda spirit tracks because before I upgraded to that firmware I couldn't play mario rpg 3 or zelda so whatever I have I thought it was the latest in homebrewed firmware

I need to start looking into the best dsi flashcart because I think I might buy a dsi soon and give mine lite to my daughter
the only reason I held onto my lite was for the ezflash 4 to play gba games but now that I have my psp modded I don't need that anymore

So this means there's no fix for games with DSi enhancements on an R4?
