WODE Lite has been postponed for release in Autumn (Europe Time - October).

The main reasons that WODE Lite has beendelayed are :

- The new feature of disc ripping requires a userto see the progress on the screen. The WODE Lite does not have a screen, so we will have to work on interface etc... need time to be done
-We want WODE Lite to be 'Lite' in size as well, so we are redesigningthe PCB board to make it smaller, this mean new samples, new casedesign, new protoypes (min 1 month)
- We want to fix the small bugsin 2.0 firmware, and finalize the WiFi capabilities on the standard WODE first
- We also want to start investing some time into a possibleWODE (Optical Drive Emulator) for the Xbox 360, a very exciting project

For now, the WODE standard is the only WODE on the market.

Wouldn't it be the XODE then?

Kinda pointless having a WODE type thing for the xbox360. Because you would still need a JTAG and then you can just plug a HDD in and your away.

How do you figure Chalky94?- the WODE in this case would probably just mimic a DVD drive (there is a way to use a standard PC drive on the 360 but it calls for a very rare model of drive and some serious work: http://www.xboxhacker.net/index.php?topic=8335.80 ) but use a hard drive to feed the virtual DVD drive isos.
Back on topic consider me interested- WODE on the Wii never really interested me/seemed all that viable with the ease of hacking there but on the 360 especially as not everyone can JTAG their system it could work very well.

Thanks for the heads up Richy Freeway.
