woow this is awesome! i hate it when my parents change the pw to the wireless internet

If they changed it right now for example, then your Wii cant connect to your Wireless and this App cant get the password,unless you ask your parents what they changed it to and re-enter in the Wii! how is it awesome?!?

Well this means I have to go to my neighbours and erase his wifi settings!
I know he tries just about every bit of homebrew out there, and I do NOT want anyone to be given my wpa key and connect anything to my network!

I allowed him to have his wii connected, but that changes right now

this thread is totally full of FAIL

nickasa nice little app dude, but some of the comments in this thread are among the most retarded Ive ever heard.

for a start, any hope of cracking wifi keys even WEP with a Wii is not gonna happen using homebrew maybe with MINI but i doubt even that, IOS is not gonna let you put the card into monitor mode, let alone will it fake associate, capture packets and if you wanna get somewhere in less that 3 days then modify and replay them packets back or cause fragmentation to get the router to spew out more data....NO GOING TO HAPPEN.

and whoever said you can crack wpa with 8gb of data is a fool, the new exploit for WPA was for WPA TKIP (rarely used) and involved decrypting the data sent over WPA networks and didnt involve the extraction of the actual key. and now with the majority of people using WPA2 AES, you have NO chance in hell.

rant over...your all retarded

THE END.

GOD DAMN IT YOU ARE A FUCKING RETARD. IT DUMPS THE PASSWORD. THE ONLY WAY TO GET SOMEONE ELSE'S PASSWORD IS TO SNIFF PACKETS, THEN CRACK THEM, BEING A 100% DIFFERENCE PROCESS.

EVERY FUCKING DAY I SEE SOMEONE STUPIDER THAN THE LAST ON GBATEMP.

can you please provide source? I would like to see a few things about it.

Great work, worked as advertised!

EDIT: only got my SSID, not my password. Still would like to see source though.

    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.

    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.

    @Psionic Roshambo, Yeah, BonziBuddy was both spyware and ad-ware. It collected children's personal information without consent as well as display fake Windows popups.
