seems to be maintained for SLUT-2 devices, u could give it a try. (for GUI hiding mode atleast)

Why do you call it "Slut" 2? I don't get it. You've done that more than once now.

using Supercard Lite (blk version when it came out)

1.84 with automatic DLDI patching (though i tried without it in the root also)

regular SNEmulDS works fine, but freezes on the large roms like Chrono Trigger.
WIP SNEmulDS boots but freezes on the starting screen
