OMFG. Hearing this news is almost making me think twice about thinking playing with the English Patch. I might still though, cuz the release might come when i start school again and I wont have time to play it then XD

Sadly, smea fixing hans doesn't mean shit to me. Since I am an owner of the sky3DS+ (my solution to not having a hard mod), being unable to update out of region games. It would be super nice if homebrew had an app which connected to the update system... and then downloaded the updates for games. I guess for now I'm going to hafta stick with Hardmodding.

With only around three month left till the western release of MHGen, it does not make sense put more work into the translation?
If someone told me, I would never believe it would some so quick to the western countries. English,spanish,german,french, italian. A lot of work to do for them!
By the way: downgrade for Firmware 10.4 till 10.6 possible again!

Only thing that will be changed is the DLC NA receives. There was a lot of Japan DLC that wasn't released for NA MH4U.

Was a little late to the party but thanks for letting us try the game before it's international release. I knew before trying it it was worth it and the english patch will let us play until it releases here ( and I'll make sure to buy it). So as it was already said, thanks for all the hard work and get well soon!

I am happy to be able to play the game before its release (because I wasnt sure it was ever going to come out in the US). I cant wait to get the US version so that I may play with my friends online (I never took the JAP version online, felt it wasnt right). I do look forward to more of your work when you are well.

I'll even try to get the collectors edition if there is one since I am in love with this spin-off rendition to the saga of MH.

The save is on your sd. 3dz,3ds or cia saves at the same location.

The western release will have a different id.

I'm running an O3DS with sys4.5 & rxtools emu11.0 with NTR enabled but I can't seem to make the game run (even MH4U or SSB wont work ) I just keep getting a black screen after the 3DS splash then gets stuck in there for eternity. I installed the V9 pre-patched cia using FBI, btw. Do I need to install the clean cia then patch it or are there any other steps I should follow to make it work? I've read the thread from page 1but sadly I didn't find anything.. Thanks in advance!

I think you have to install the standard untranslated game then install a update 1.2 CIA pre-patched with the v10 translation. That's what I did.

So NO cia games are working or just MHX, MH4U and SSB? Either way, post this in the "3DS - Flashcards & Custom Firmwares" section since it isn't MHX fault, there's something wrong with your system.

Nah, any translation patch version will work with the 1.2 prepatched update cia.

I believe you're using an O3DS as well? Because some of my friends are saying the old console might not be compatible (and I dont have means to buy a N3DSXL yet) so yeah. I'll go ahead and look for the update first and try again. Thanks!
