Normally, the cadence of quality of release would suggest that windows 12 should be the "good" release with as awful as 11 has been, for so many.
That said, their lean towards chatgpt is already making me question how good it will actually be. Also, there's still the matter that there hasn't been a sound card (for me) worth getting since the Audigy Rx; even Creative itself has regressed in the audio support for newer cards. And onboard has already degraded further still. Might be fine for a use case such as the living room "media PC," but it won't be satisfactory for a main gaming PC; at least for my own preferences.
