Hacking will this work and if so, how do I do it?

I have a Wii ISO file on my comp, it it ~ 4.0 Gigs...
I also have a 500 Gig external hard drive.
The hard drive is connected to the Wii and I am using USB Loader GX

Unhooking the hard drive from the Wii is a pain in the butt and I was hoping there was a way to transfer through WIFI (maybe even through the Wii) from the computer to the hard drive. I am trying to avoid disconnecting the drive as the wires are behind the TV.

Is this possible?

Only if you're using FAT32 and .wbfs files and you can maintain a good connection, then you could do it with ftpii and maybe other homebrew I'm not familiar with. But if you're using a WBFS partition, then no.
