Silms should, but the 3000's cant run homebrew as far as i know.
According to the reviews, it's either a PSP3000 or a PSP2000 with a newer motherboard which is as far as I know, unhackable.
It depends on the mobo, the newer slim might not work, for me jut to be on the safe side I'm gonna get a psp1000
how do you tell if it has the new motherboard I would rather get a slim for the extra power but I want to make sure it will work
If you read the comments section at NewEgg for that item you'll notice it mentions the motherboard. It carries the newer model motherboards which aren't hackable. You'd be better off saving your money and looking for a GameStop in your area or trying an online auction thru eBay. I actually got my PSP (A phat) from a booth at an anime convention recently for about $100.
