Hi all,
I was wandering if there would be a step by step guide from fresh to being able to run games from the USB all in 1 guide with links etc .

The scene is progressing too fast lol. I started writing a new guide and halfway through everything I wrote had already changed :)

I think most are waiting for team Salt release. it supposedly will have a step by step with all links etc.

If you're new I'd just research Brazilian USB method and just stick with that for now. Don't play with all the custom firmwares and redand just yet. Wait for it all to materialize fully.

There is kind of one on wiiuhacks on reddit.

And it's pretty hard to keep up with because the scene is changing so much! I need to do something about the IOSUhax and Haxchi part of it because I think it kinda loses direction a little. But it is very noob friendly, and I'm over there constantly answering questions when I can.

If OP wants to check it out, the link is in my sig.

Definitely check his guide, was very easy to follow....

Thanks people. yeah I have noticed it changes a lot. probably wise to just do one when all the hacking has completely finished

Actually I would jump in now... 3 days ago I had an umodded WiiU. Today I have everything I want installed, Full games, VC Titles, eShop titles, and DLC.

My advice would be follow KoopaTroopa311's guide, but only sections 1, 2, and 4...

That will allow you to download and install quite a few games without the need for rednand, or Isouhax (patched firmware). Basically games will just install on your WiiU, and you just switch on and play them on or offline... very simple.

After your comfortable with how that all works, goto section 3.
After completing this you will be able to switch on your WiiU, run a customized game that will allow you reboot your machine into a patched firmware that allows you to run all the other titles, VC games, eShop games, and DLC.

The first part (sections 1,2 &4) will take no more than 30mins and is extremely easy, and I very much doubt you could brick your machine. The 2nd part (section 3) will take a little longer and you may run into a few hitches (I certainly did). Just read it a few times and follow it slowly...

Good luck!!

I revamped it a day or two ago so it's simpler now, though it still does take a little bit of time to do. I've ommitted wupserver commands, so that should take a lot of confusion away!

Just don't mess around with Sysnand and keep titles installed to USB. I have been messing with USB installs and DLC (sig patched) for the past two days with no issues.

I saw... It's much clearer now although it was actually fine before!
Thanks for a very thorough guide...
