I believe all systems will eventually be emulated, but each generation will take a longer time to emulate than the one before it. Baring of course discoveries of exploits and running of unsigned code on original hardware. This seems to speed things up a lot.

Edit: As for a timeline on 3DS emulation... Well with the GateWay and some other homebrew code running on the device it may not be as far off as I would have said before those things happened.

As a pure speculation maybe 2 years off for some early barely working emulator.

Why waiting another 2-3 years for an un-perfect emulator + getting a decent PC to play 3DS when you can spend only 169.99 (or even lower 3 years later) to get the REAL system?

They want emulators because they don't want to pay for the real deal. Not only for the games but also for the console.

Or to be able to replay their favorite games from their childhood 20 years later. So many great games will be lost in time, no one will ever remember them after their consoles go extinct, starting from xbox/ps3. This will be remembered as the dark ages of video games.

Not for this guy. The 3DS isn't dead yet.

and some people is unployed like me and doesn't have money to buy it and have to get entertained somehow :/

Download porn. It is free (for most stuff) and you make yourself happy!!! Joking aside, until newer 3DS games are able to be successfully decrypted, you are going to be waiting a while.

All these shit posts, it should only take one post to answer what he said.
And now I just made one, shit.

Until the 3ds is fully decrypted (On current firmware), you gotta wait, patience is a virtue.
