Hacking Will rockband track pack 1-2-ACDC work?

Now I have softchip working (with USB) , i wanted to know if i needed use region specific track packs on my PAL backup of Rockband?

Might be a no-brainer but I wanted to see if any one else has tried this?

(alternatively i could wiifrii the discs i guess...)

I'm using PAL machine with PAL rockband and possibly NTSC track packs.
