Hacking Will it brick

If i install accidently a VC title with a incorrect region like NTSC and im on pal will it brick my wii or when im on the menu will the game just not play

install a NTSC wad, it wont work
install a region free wad, it should work, some don't though.....

Have starfall region free installed, that should help allot, but region free still works without it installed..

Have starfall region free installed, that should help allot, but region free still works without it installed..

1. a region free wad is not ntsc is it, its an ntsc or pal wad been made region free, but this does not work with nintendo wads

2. star fall isn't installed unless you select at least 1 option, and if he couldnt understand about the region free vc then he shouldnt be messin with it in the 1st place

If you install a different region game then the game wont work but nothing will happen to your wii.
In fact the game will not start at all it will just give an error but your Wii will work fine.
If you want to remove a wad, dont delete from the Wii System Menu use something like Wad Manager or Wad Uninstaller.
I recommend Wad Manager because it install AND uninstall wads.

HOWEVER

If you install a different region update then you can brick your wii.
As far as I am aware VC games do not come with updates so need to worry much about this.
Just keep this in mind if you are ever installing IOS. I recommend that you not do anything to do with IOS yet.

pal works on pal only
ntsc works on ntsc only
region free works on both, quite allot of VC's cannot be made region free though..end up with blank screen

im also trying to find out how i can remove a VC title from the channel menu (installed from a WAD) and then copy back from a SD card when i want it.
im on 3.3 , have installed WADs using wad manager 1.3
than backed the channels up to SD card , deleted VC from wii using menu not wad manager.
im unable to copy back but i still should have the tickets on as not removed wad, is that correct
