will doing the fredtool method while already having cfw brick you

im tempted to do this method while my ds already having cfw but the guide did state a warning that it might brick but this is the only option i have to mod my ds so idk what to do

Why bother with fredtool when your consoles got cfw? You dont need anything else when ya got cfw.

so i can just install fbi and the other stuff bc the reason why i asked is one of my buttons are broken so i can’t install boot9strap so i wanted to go on with the fredtool option bc im not sure if i skip that it would cause you to brick
