Homebrew Will 3DS ever emulate PSP, PS1 and Game Cube?

I'm sure the 5DS will be able to run Gamecube games at a playable speed. unless Nintendo does another Wii.

Vita can play PS2 games very laggy, so I don't see why not.

PS1 stuff might run slowly if the technical challenges can be overcome. Everything else like PSP and GameCube...hell no. It's not going to happen. The 3DS doesn't have the specs to pull it off.

We don't need another discussion thread about 3DS emulation of unlikely consoles. There's been too many already. This is about as stupid as asking if we'll get N64 emulation on the Nintendo DS (hell even the 3DS would have trouble pulling off an N64 emulator).

The PSP has a MIPS processor, and so does the N64. The 3DS has an ARM processor, so no not going to happen.

PS1 seems like a maybe. PSP wouldn't happen since the 3DS is weaker than it in some specs. And Gamecube? LOL my computer can't even run Dolphin well.
