For some reason this is only showing the files in my sd card. Its not recognising my usb hdd and I've tried both ports. Is there any software I need to install to enable usb functionality?

have u installed cios202? maybe u don't have this. this homebrew works like charm. hope we could select multiple files for copy/paste/etc. or does it have this feature? another leap for wii homebrew

I've now had a chance to use this program fairly extensively, and I have to say, I'm impressed!
Great work, it is an excellent replacement for the outdated SDExplorer

One thing, I realize its fairly involved, but if an editor was built into the program, so that we could modify meta.xml or .cfg's and ini's, this would seriously take the cake as one of the best homebrew programs. It would, for me, almost completely remove the need to be running over the house modifying and trying files via FTPii.

I had the same problem trying to read my usb hd. As razorback78 suggested I installed ios202 and it now works (plus it was about time I updated to the latest mplayer which also requires ios202 etc).

This program really is great though (even at this early stage)! Its something thats been needed for a while so thanks very much (R20 is running well for me!).

I'm hoping someone will make a dol frowarder channel to accompany wiixplorer.

once complete it should be incorperated into USBLoaderGX like the HBC has been.... that would be a complete loader!

i would then never need the wii system menu again, load star-iaght into GX with this incorperated...that would be to good to be truewewewew!!

I've had problems since R17....

I have cIOS 202,222,223 and Wanin's R14 installed.

I'm on 3.2E btw

Try connect the USB device on port0, the bottom USB port when Wii is horizontal.

On WiiXplorer check settings if you get an error, the program get stuck in network type when your SMB is disabled. Just change it to SD or USB. No problem so far to me, using a thumb drive.

Added basic support for image viewing. Supported types for now are PNG and JPEG.
Please note that in order to compile this version, you'll also need the updated
libogc from the Downloads section.

And I can compiled it without any problem.

could someone maintain a download of the most recent built?

and i post my suggestion from the wadmanager gx thread here as well.

a combination of those two tools would be amazing. maybe the coders should team up as soon as possible to prevent doing work twice. i know they are both in the usb loader gx team and should know each other.

what's the point in merging every app into one, it's just probably not going to happen, seen as there is no point. WiiExplorer will be good as part of usbloadergx though, nothing more, just my opinion.

you don't see the point of installing wad straight out of the best filemanager available but the integration into a backup loader is a reasonable task? you can't be serious.

me and i guess a couple of others would like to see a all in one file handling app like this one ould be. they started to build in document/picture viewing and other stuff and i was asking for something i thought could be usefull.

Please note that in order to compile this version, you'll also need the updated
libogc from the Downloads section.

And I can compiled it without any problem.

It wasn't there when I tried to compile it earlier lol!

Anyway, here's the next revision, and as usual read my little disclaimer!

Remember this great piece of software is still in an early stage of development!
If gbatemp raises an issue and it's confirmed, someone should record it officially
