Could a WiiU gamepad possibly be used to stream a phone screen?

Its just my first thought, so it need to checked out. You need to run a VNC Server on the Phone and a VNC Client on the WiiU. There exists for the WiiU "WiiVNC" for streaming the screen. The smartphone has a lot of VNC applications available.
